Plant Engineer (Dual Location) Montgomery, PA & Towanda, PA

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide general support for day-to-day Operations as directed by the General/Outage/Project Manager as well as:
• Assist in developing a long-range maintenance plan as directed for plant equipment
• Research and develop repair plans for various system components
• Develop a maintenance schedule for various plant systems while working side-by-side with the planning group
• Collect PI data and develop system trends. Review inspection reports to determine timing of inspections for the manufacturers recommended inspection intervals
• Support technicians in troubleshooting various plant components
• Monitor Operating equipment, trend points, develop compensatory plans, train operations to do the same
• Provide interface with vendors
• Assist in preparing reports for regulatory entities
• Develop Operational skills to assist in day-to-day operations during heavy run periods
• Additional requirements:
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Occasional overnight travel is required
• Must be physically able to transit plant facilities and stairways
• Must be able to work in a standard office environment and operate a computer and other office equipment
• Strong Time management skills self-directed deadlines

Education/Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
• Power plant or other facility similar related experience
• Highly functional in Excel and other MS applications
