MORGANTOWN

Morgantown is a 62 MW waste coal-fired cogeneration facility located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Morgantown began commercial operations in April 1992 and provides capacity and energy to Mon Power, an operating subsidiary of Allegheny Energy, Inc., under a PPA that expires in April 2027. Morgantown also has a profitable long-term steam supply agreement with the University of West Virginia, which provides additional margin for the project. Cogentrix owns a 3% general partnership interest in Morgantown. The facility is operated and managed by an affiliate of Dominion.
