LOGAN

Logan is a 225 MW pulverized coal-fired cogeneration facility located in Logan Township, New Jersey, within several miles of the Carneys Point facility. Logan began commercial operations in September 1994 and provides 203 MW of declared production capability to ACE under a PPA that expires in December 2024. Together with Carneys Point, Logan was among the environmental pioneers of the U.S. coal-fired fleet, as it was constructed with low NOx burners, scrubbers and SCR. It remains one of the cleanest coal-fired generating plants in the country Cogentrix operates and owns 20% of Logan.
