WHITEWATER

Whitewater is a 249 MW combined-cycle natural gas-fired cogeneration facility with fuel oil backup located in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Whitewater began commercial operations in September 1997 and provides approximately 237 MW of declared production capability to Wisconsin Electric Power Company (WEPCO), a subsidiary of Wisconsin Energy Corp., under a PPA that expires in May 2022. Whitewater also provides steam to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater under a steam supply agreement as well as hot water to a greenhouse facility located adjacent to the plant. Cogentrix owns a 7% interest in Whitewater and fully performs O&M and commercial management for the facility.
