SELKIRK

Selkirk is a 345 MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle cogeneration facility located near Albany, New York within the grounds of the SABIC Plastics manufacturing facility. Selkirk consists of Phase 1, with an electric generating capacity of 80 MW, and Phase 2, with electric generating capacity of 265 MW. Phase 1 became operational in April 1992, and Phase 2 achieved commercial operation in September 1994. Selkirk provides capacity and energy to Consolidated Edison Company of New York out of Phase 2 through September 2014. Phase 1 capacity and energy is sold into the markets administered by the New York Independent System Operator ("NYISO"). Steam is sold to SABIC through 2014. Cogentrix has a 9.4% ownership interest in Selkirk.
