Cogentrix is a leading independent power producer with a long track record of successfully acquiring, developing, constructing, operating, improving and divesting power generation assets. The Finance Manager oversees the financial matters of the corporate entity or all plant and related project entities, providing financial perspective, support and guidance to the General Manager, other site team members, and other departmental/ functional team members throughout the organization. Under functional guidance, he/she leads and manages the finance functions, provides stakeholders with projected and reported results, manages and performs short- and long-term financial analyses, and prepares and analyzes budgets and forecasts.
