Cogentrix currently employs approximately 700 full-time employees. Of this total, approximately 80 personnel are assigned to the Charlotte office, and constitute a significant part of the resource pool that is shared among its generating facilities. The Corporate Organization is comprised of the following functional areas: Asset Management and Operations, Development, Controllers, Corporate Services, Engineering, Environmental, Health & Safety, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Materials Management, and Tax. Each area is supported by seasoned professionals with extensive industry experience and knowledge.
